New Water Aerator

There is so much good news in Home Hill now it almost makes me cry.  So where do I start, so did anyone notice a very large 90 ton crane working at the Home Hill water tower? Council is in the process of installing after all most 5 years a new aerator on top of the water tower this is a large project and it will improve water quality and be kind to the water mains and all other water pipe infrastructure.

New Footpath Promotes Safety

You will have seen the new footpath that is been constructed along 7th Avenue this will be a major safety benefit for all who had to walk on the road with traffic all around. It will also enhance the look as you enter Home Hill. This is by no means a small project and it might take some time to finish but it will be worth the wait and inconvenience to traffic to get a good result.

Centaur moved to Arch Dunn Park

Another project this time by the Home Hill RSL was the removal of the centaur behind the RSL building.  It has been moved to Arch Dunn Park next to the Home Hill Bowls club with minor concrete works for a better appearance. With this change I believe that the ANZAC parade will not be marching down 8th Avenue. This move will alleviate the closing of 8th Avenue and is a good safety move.

Wheelie Bins

On another subject are your rubbish wheelie bins in good order, wheels might not be working or there is a split in the lid etc. if not contact Council on (07) 4783 9800 and it will be repaired.

Inkerman Hill Seats and Tables

I’ve been asked on numerous occasions about seats and tables on Inkerman Hill lookout.  Well let me assure you it will happen before the opening and thanks for the many good comments in regard to this great project.
