The Burdekin Theatre management, staff and volunteers need to be congratulated for the quality of world class shows that have been presented, in particular Saturday June 29th Queensland Youth Orchestra presentation of Orchestral Favourites.
A cast number of 35 members with an age range from thirteen to twenty eight year olds.
The highlight of the night was the young soprano Nina Wildman.
Later at the local MacDonald’s I spoke to the manager and some cast members from the show about the unbelievable entry fee of $10.00 with $5.00 being donated to local charity Laurie’s Love a very worthy cause.
