Burdekin Shire Council Councillor Uli Liessman is pushing for feral cats to be included in the revised Fox and Wild Dog Bounty Policy. Under the revised policy, there is a $29 bounty per fox or wild dog scalp.
Council is currently investigating what surrounding shires do with regards to policies around feral cats.
